Felipe Drugovich will debut in Formula E at Berlin for Mahindra, substituting for world champion Nyck de Vries. The Formula 2 champion will compete in both races at Tempelhof Airport on 12-13 July. Drugovich impressed during the 2023 Berlin Rookie Test and has already tested with Mahindra.
He will partner with Edoardo Mortara, filling in de Vries’s absence. Both Mortara and de Vries have been successful this season, with the team currently fifth in the standings. Drugovich expressed excitement for the opportunity to race in Formula E with Mahindra.
Drugovich is the second replacement driver for Berlin, with Norman Nato also unavailable due to WEC commitments. Sergio Sette Camara will replace Nato for Nissan at the Berlin rounds.
