Revving Up the Engine: Strategies for Alpine’s F1 Revival

Alpine’s performance in the 2025 season has been attributed to the inconsistencies and tire management issues of their A525 Formula 1 car, resulting in a 15-point gap behind Sauber at the bottom of the standings.

Pierre Gasly has shown glimpses of speed in qualifying this year, reaching Q3 six times, but also faced disappointments with four Q1 eliminations, showcasing the team’s up-and-down season.

During the Austrian Grand Prix, Gasly managed a strong start from 10th on the grid but struggled with tire degradation and damaged car balance after a pit stop, ultimately finishing lower due to these setbacks.

Despite Gasly’s efforts to stay competitive with the current car, Alpine’s lackluster performance has been evident, with challenges from more competitive teams like Sauber raising concerns within the team and Gasly.

The team’s previous successes have been overshadowed by the current struggles, highlighting the need for significant improvements and consistent performances to climb up the rankings before any potential mid-season changes.
