Nissan pledges commitment to Formula E until 2030
Nissan has committed to Formula E until 2030, making the announcement before the Tokyo E-Prix. The Japanese manufacturer has been part of the electric championship since 2018, taking over the Renault e.Dams entry, with two wins and 16 podiums so far. Their recent success includes Oliver Rowland’s back-to-back victories during the current season. Nissan’s commitment aligns with their sustainability strategy and aims to exceed targets set for 2030. The Gen4 machines will bring significant improvements, with regeneration capacity up to 700kW and power output up to 600kW. Formula E CEO Jeff Dodds is pleased with Nissan’s extended involvement, highlighting their shared values of promoting sustainability and electric technology globally.
