The new venue is expected to take over the running of the Saudi Arabian GP from 2027.
The Qiqqiya Investment Company has shared new details about the upcoming F1 track in Saudi Arabia, set to host the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix. The current venue, Jeddah Corniche Circuit, will be replaced by the new Speed Park in Qiddiya as part of the Saudi Vision 2030 initiative. The new track, designed by Hermann Tilke and Alex Wurz, will feature a 108m elevation difference and three DRS zones, with the first corner named ‘Blade’ illuminated by LED lights. QIC’s managing director, Abdullah Aldawood, highlighted that the Speed Park Track will showcase Qiddiya City as a premier motorsport destination with a unique race experience. Positioned near Riyadh, Qiddiya City is part of Saudi Arabia’s major development projects, offering visitors and spectators a world-class motorsport venue ready to host top events.
