Game-changing Saudi Arabia venue set to "push the boundaries" of motorsport
Located just outside Riyadh, the Speed Park Track in Qiddiya City features a unique layout with 20-story climbs, a rollercoaster alongside the main straight, and a combination of street and circuit sections that can be extended to create one of the world’s longest racetracks.
Designed by F1 legend Hermann Tilke and with input from former F1 driver Alexander Wurz, the track aims to host a variety of top-level motorsports events, positioning Qiddiya City as a hub for global motorsport.
Surrounded by the scenic Tuwaiq Mountains, the track will integrate seamlessly with urban entertainment precincts, offering a fully immersive experience beyond racing with adrenaline-fueled attractions, experiences, and events.
The track design includes unique features like “The Blade”, a high-speed corner rising 108m above ground, and elevated terraces instead of traditional grandstands to provide spectators with multiple vantage points near the racing action.
The venue promises to redefine motorsports by offering a new type of immersive experience to fans, combining the thrill of racing with entertainment, hospitality, and culture in a setting that blends harmoniously with the city’s architecture and surroundings.
