Jenson Button has addressed unfounded rumours that he is in line to replace Martin Brundle on Sky Sports F1.
Jenson Button has firmly dismissed speculation about replacing Martin Brundle in Sky Sports F1’s commentary box, stating that Brundle is the key figure in the team.
Button emphasized that he is not positioned to take over from Brundle, as he believes Brundle excels in providing commentary and insights.
Despite enjoying filling in for Brundle occasionally, Button expressed that he has no desire to take on a more prominent role due to his other commitments.
Brundle debunked claims about changes to his workload, confirming that he will maintain his 16-race schedule, working alongside lead commentator David Croft in 2026.
Button currently serves as a pundit and expert for Sky Sports F1, while also fulfilling a team ambassador role with Aston Martin F1 Team and focusing on historic racing and business ventures, including his whisky brand.
