Misano E-Prix: Vergne heads practice as Cassidy suffers high-speed crash
Vergne set the fastest time of 1m17.482s, just 0.20s ahead of Jake Hughes and 0.081s ahead of Sebastien Buemi in the Saturday morning session. Buemi initially led with a 1m19.123s before a red flag caused by Sergio Sette Camara’s breakdown. Robin Frijns then took the lead with a 1m18.733s. Despite efforts from Frijns and others, Vergne reclaimed the top spot with a 1m17.456s, but Hughes eventually finished fastest with a 1m17.502s. The session ended early due to an incident involving Nick Cassidy’s Jaguar, casting doubt on his participation in the upcoming qualifying session.
