Sebastian Vettel showed impressive consistency during his marathon debut in the London Marathon, surpassing his ambitious target of finishing in under three hours by 52 seconds, with a time of 2:59:08. Vettel, a four-time F1 champion, ran for the Grand Prix Trust and the Brain & Spine Foundation, exceeding expectations in his first marathon experience. He expressed his happiness at completing the race and highlighted the incredible support and atmosphere along the course. Vettel’s equal split times throughout the race mirrored his precision and focus from his Formula 1 days. Reflecting on his achievement, Vettel shared his satisfaction in accomplishing his goal and encouraged others to participate in a marathon, emphasizing the rewarding experience. Additionally, Vettel and F1 presenter Tom Clarkson exceeded their charity fundraising target, with donations nearing £10,000.
