The AlphaTauri driver felt the team lacked in a critical area throughout the weekend, as they struggled to get into the points.
Daniel Ricciardo expressed his disappointment with AlphaTauri’s performance in the Las Vegas Grand Prix, believing they missed a crucial opportunity. Throughout the weekend, the team struggled to break into the top ten, with Ricciardo’s 14th place finish being their highest result. Ricciardo attributed their difficulties to the low track temperatures, which prevented the drivers from maximizing the heat in their tires during the race. He also noted that the restarts did not work in their favor. Currently, AlphaTauri is in a tight battle with Williams for seventh place in the Constructors’ Championship, with only seven points separating them. Despite the setback, Ricciardo found solace in the fact that their rivals also failed to score points, giving them a glimmer of hope for the final round in Abu Dhabi.
