Red Bull has been defeated on just one occasion so far this Formula 1 season and McLaren’s Lando Norris is not expecting the Milton Keynes-based squad to run into any major difficulties this weekend in Las Vegas.
Lando Norris dismissed suggestions that Red Bull could face similar difficulties to the Singapore Grand Prix in Las Vegas this weekend. He pointed out that the layout of the Las Vegas circuit is more akin to low-downforce tracks like Monza, which plays to Red Bull’s strengths. Norris acknowledged the possibility of unpredictable factors like rain, but he was hesitant to make any predictions about McLaren’s performance in Las Vegas. Despite McLaren’s recent success, including five podium finishes in the last six races, Norris doesn’t believe the team will be as competitive in Las Vegas due to the nature of the circuit. He compared it to races like Baku and Monza, where McLaren has traditionally struggled.
