Formula E has unveiled its new GEN3 Evo race car, slated to debut next season, boasting increased speed and durability compared to its predecessor. Despite maintaining the same power and dimensions as the outgoing car, numerous upgrades are expected to enhance overall performance by around two percent, with a weight gain of 19kg. Formula E CEO Jeff Dodds described the new car as revolutionary, likening its advancements to those seen in the transition between earlier generations. Major enhancements include the introduction of all-wheel drive for the first time, improving acceleration and grip, while ensuring robustness for tight street circuits. The inclusion of improved aerodynamics and Hankook tires offering 10 percent more grip further enhance the racing experience and sustainability of Formula E.
