Ross Chastain made history by winning the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway by driving from last to first in a backup car. William Byron had to settle for second after leading 283 of 400 laps, with Chase Briscoe finishing third and Brad Keselowski as the top Ford driver in fourth. Chastain’s victory marked his sixth career win and the first win of the 2025 season for Trackhouse Racing. Denny Hamlin finished 16th after pitting from third due to a fuel issue, while eight drivers failed to finish, including Kyle Larson. Jimmie Johnson, in his 700th career start, ended up finishing last after an early accident.
