The clash between their drivers has prompted a debate on McLaren’s ‘papaya rules’ to prevent such incidents, as CEO Zak Brown had anticipated. Piastri now leads the 2025 drivers’ championship by 22 points over Norris, setting the stage for further developments in the title race.
