McLaren driver Lando Norris recently scaled back his social media use before the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix to prioritize productive activities. With nearly 10 million followers on Instagram, Norris expressed his disinterest in social media, noting it as a drain on his time and energy. Since May 9th, after his podium finish at the Miami Grand Prix, he hasn’t posted on Instagram, choosing to focus on activities like spending time with friends, playing golf, and training. This shift in focus has allowed Norris to challenge his teammate, Oscar Piastri, for the lead in the F1 drivers’ standings where he currently holds second place, trailing by just 16 points.
