Alex Marquez underwent a successful surgery to treat the left hand fracture sustained in the Dutch Grand Prix accident at Assen.
It is yet to be decided whether Marquez will participate in the upcoming MotoGP round in Germany on 11-13 July, with an update expected this week.
Meanwhile, Luca Marini will return to action at a private test in Brno, just one month after his serious injury at Suzuka.
Marini’s recovery has progressed well, allowing him to join the private Honda and Yamaha test, while his team-mate Joan Mir’s participation remains uncertain due to a recent crash in the Dutch Grand Prix.
Factory rider Alex Rins and Pramac rider Miguel Oliveira will represent Yamaha at the upcoming test in Brno.
