Alex Marquez had successful surgery after his crash at the Dutch Grand Prix, where he fractured his left hand colliding with Pedro Acosta’s bike.
His Gresini team confirmed the completion of the surgery, with updates expected on his recovery and potential return for the next race in Germany.
Meanwhile, Luca Marini will return to his Honda for a private test at Brno, just a month after his serious crash at Suzuka.
Despite initial concerns, Marini’s recovery has been impressive, and he will join the private test with selected teams from Honda and Yamaha.
Mir’s participation in the test is uncertain due to a heavy crash at the Dutch GP, with Alex Rins and Miguel Oliveira set to represent Yamaha at Brno.
