Max Verstappen stated that the recent clampdown on front wing flexing will not affect Red Bull’s performance and he doubts its impact on other teams as well. The FIA has implemented stricter tests starting from the Spanish Grand Prix in Barcelona following limitations on rear wing flexing. Observers anticipate this change to potentially alter the competitive order, with McLaren possibly being the most adept at utilizing aero-elasticity. Despite this, Verstappen remains confident that the regulation change will not significantly impact Red Bull. He believes their recent progress will continue to benefit them, especially on high-downforce tracks like Circuit de Barcelona Catalunya. Verstappen highlighted Red Bull’s strengths in high-speed corners and emphasized the need to improve in medium to low-speed sections for future races.
