Rocco Coronel, a Red Bull protege, made significant progress in the Ryan Motorsport Insurance Autosport National Rankings by securing two Ginetta Junior wins at Oulton Park, moving up to second place overall, only two victories behind the leader Ali Bray.
Despite narrowly missing a hat-trick win by 0.003 seconds at Oulton Park, Coronel’s impressive performance elevated him in the standings and highlighted the success of car racing rookies like him and Steve Gambrell in the top three.
With fewer race meetings this week, Coronel was the sole addition to the top 10 drivers, while Jamie Osborne’s Mini Challenge victory streak came to an end at Snetterton, but he still managed to reenter the rankings with two wins.
Paul Goldstein, a prolific Caterham racer, also climbed the ranks significantly by winning in the 7 Racing category at Brands Hatch, jumping from 46th to 21st place.
Additionally, newcomers like Matt Harbot, Frazer Gibney, and many more displayed impressive performances in various categories, showcasing the diverse talent and competition within the Ryan Motorsport Insurance Autosport National Rankings.
