Lewis Hamilton described the Spanish Grand Prix as “the worst race I’ve experienced” after finishing sixth in Barcelona, in a downbeat mood due to his struggles for pace throughout the race. Despite a good start, he was passed by his team-mate Charles Leclerc and dropped positions during pitstops. Hamilton regained sixth but ultimately finished seventh after a late overtake by Nico Hulkenberg. In a brief post-race interview, he expressed frustration with the race and his car’s performance. Meanwhile, Charles Leclerc was more positive after securing a surprise podium finish, highlighting the strategic decision made during the race and the element of luck that helped him achieve the result. Leclerc acknowledged the team’s need to improve overall performance despite the podium finish.
