Haas racer Oliver Bearman received a 10-place grid penalty for overtaking Carlos Sainz under red flag conditions at the Monaco GP.
This penalty is the second “harsh” decision Bearman faced in a week, following a similar incident in Imola where his qualifying lap was deleted.
Bearman expressed his frustration at the FIA’s decisions, calling them unfair and harsh, especially given the circumstances of the incidents.

Despite feeling hard done by, Bearman acknowledged the situation and hinted at using the penalty to explore alternative race strategies on Sunday in Monaco.
