Max Verstappen believes Red Bull’s upcoming upgrades will be crucial for their performance in the remainder of the 2025 F1 season. The team has introduced several enhancements, such as a new floor in Miami, rear corner changes in Imola, and a Barcelona front wing, with the latest updates debuting at the Austrian Grand Prix. While these modifications have improved the car’s through-corner balance, Red Bull still trails McLaren in overall grip, especially on circuits with low-to-medium speed corners. Verstappen emphasized the importance of the races at the Red Bull Ring and Silverstone in shaping the team’s aspirations for the year. Despite acknowledging the competition from McLaren drivers Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris, Verstappen remains focused on maximizing each weekend’s performance and maintaining a pragmatic outlook on the title fight.
