He was confident in his car setup since FP1 and regretted missing the opportunity to fight for pole from P8. Leclerc approached Hadjar after qualifying to discuss the incident, acknowledging the challenges of dirty air on a track like Montreal. Despite the setback in qualifying, Leclerc aimed for a podium finish in Sunday’s race, depending on making early progress through the field.
