Honda is opting to enter only Joan Mir and not call up any of its three test riders for MotoGP’s Aragon Grand Prix. Luca Marini sustained a long-term injury at Suzuka and will not be replaced. Due to the rules, Honda does not have to name a replacement for Marini if they got injured fewer than nine days before the race. Honda’s three test riders could have stepped up, but no plans have been made for them to do so. And Augusto Fernandez will race as a Yamaha wildcard while Ai Ogura awaits medical clearance following knee surgery.
