Chase Briscoe surprised everyone by setting the fastest lap time in qualifying at Nashville, beating Denny Hamlin by 0.049s. Briscoe expressed satisfaction with his performance and highlighted the importance of track position for the race.
William Byron secured the third position, while Tyler Reddick and Ross Chastain followed closely behind in fourth and fifth place, respectively. The top ten included drivers like Brad Keselowski, Christopher Bell, and Joey Logano.
However, A.J. Allmendinger faced inspection drama, leading to a 17th place qualification. Shane van Gisbergen achieved his best oval qualifying effort in 23rd place.
On the other hand, Kyle Larson continued to struggle, starting in 28th place after crashes in the Indianapolis 500 and Coca-Cola 600.
