While the focus of Vegas was on the occasion around the race, at the same time the Macau Grand Prix provided a reminder of everything a street circuit can and should be
that Macau was a special place for motorsport, I didn’t really believe it until I arrived here. The atmosphere, the energy, the unique street circuit, it all adds up to create an unforgettable experience. Even the smallest details, like the sea breeze and the corner names, contribute to the charm of this event. Despite the challenges of the pandemic, Macau managed to contain it effectively and allow spectators to attend, albeit in smaller numbers. The return of Formula 3 this year was a significant step forward, and it reminded everyone of the greatness of this street track. The drivers and riders themselves are genuinely passionate about racing here and speak fondly of the demanding nature of the circuit. Macau truly is a special place that captures the hearts of all who experience it.
