F1 Academy has officially secured a high-profile, trail-blazing newcomer for 2024 – and so has the Mercedes Formula 1 team
F1 Academy has signed French racer Doriane Pin for the 2024 season, making her debut in full-time single-seater racing. Pin will be part of the all-female, F1-supporting championship, with Italian team Prema fielding her car. Pin had previously represented Prema in the World Endurance Championship and impressed the team with her potential. She has had a diverse racing career, including success in karting, the Clio Cup, and the Ferrari Challenge Europe. Pin made her single-seater debut in the F4 South East Asia and F4 United Arab Emirates series, showcasing her talent and securing wins. Mercedes is backing Pin in the F1 Academy, further strengthening their partnership with Prema. Pin is considered one of the pre-season favorites alongside Abbi Pulling in the F1 Academy championship.
