Dani Juncadella finished fourth on behalf of Team Verstappen in qualifying for the Nürburgring 24 Hours. The #84 Lamborghini took pole position.
Team Verstappen narrowly missed out on pole position for the 2026 Nürburgring 24 Hours, with Dani Juncadella driving for the #3 Mercedes GT3 outfit in the fight for pole, following Top Qualifying runs by Lucas Auer and Max Verstappen. Juncadella’s first lap put him in ninth place after posting an 8m 18s time, nearly seven seconds behind the leading #130 Lamborghini driven by Marco Mapelli, increasing the pressure for his final lap. Despite significant improvement, Juncadella narrowly missed securing pole as the Lamborghinis dominated, with the #84 Lamborghini taking the pole position, followed by the #7 Lamborghini and #16 Audi. Verstappen’s team had to settle for fourth place, just eight tenths behind pole.
