The Aston Martin driver was called before the stewards for the second time in a matter of hours in Las Vegas for a yellow flag infringement.
Lance Stroll, despite being called before stewards for allegedly breaching a yellow flag rule in qualifying for the Las Vegas Grand Prix, will face no further action. Stewards examined the telemetry and compared it with teammate Fernando Alonso’s data, which revealed that Stroll had indeed slowed down and then accelerated earlier and later within the yellow flag zone. Additionally, his lap time in that sector was also higher than his previous laps, despite the improving track conditions during the session. However, Stroll still received a five-place penalty for an earlier infringement in FP3.
