Daniel Ricciardo praised AlphaTauri for their efforts after scoring his first points since his comeback at the Mexican Grand Prix. He finished in seventh place, behind George Russell, maintaining his position inside the top ten for points. Ricciardo was happy to be battling a Mercedes towards the end of the race, even if he missed out on sixth place. AlphaTauri currently sits on 16 points, behind Williams in seventh place with three races remaining. Ricciardo’s teammate, Yuki Tsunoda, had scored four points at the US Grand Prix the week prior.
