Newey has expressed his desire to depart Red Bull after 19 years, with Ferrari speculated as a probable destination. Despite Ferrari’s persistent efforts to attract Newey, no official announcement has been made. Patrese endorses Newey’s potential move to Ferrari and believes in his engineering prowess. He remains unsure, however, whether Newey would leave his beloved home in Britain. Patrese, excited at the prospect of Newey joining Ferrari, looks forward to potentially seeing him more frequently in Italy.
