Only just over the limit, but George Russell has still been found to have sped in the Circuit de Monaco pit lane.
Mercedes received a €100 fine from the FIA due to George Russell being caught speeding in the pit lane during practice for the Monaco Grand Prix. Russell exceeded the 60 km/h limit by 0.3 km/h, a breach of Article B1.6.3a of the FIA Formula 1 Sporting Regulations. This minor infringement incurred an unwanted penalty for the Silver Arrows. Despite the incident, Russell finished fifth on the timesheets, just one second behind the fastest time set by Charles Leclerc. However, he was still slower than his teammate Kimi Antonelli, who currently leads the championship standings.
