Max Verstappen Sets Sights on Daytona 24 Hours Challenge

Max Verstappen has his eyes on another 24-hour event for next year, in addition to the Nürburgring 24 Hours.

Max Verstappen expressed his interest in entering the Daytona 24 Hours next year and is currently exploring the possibility of competing in the endurance race. Despite facing a mechanical issue at the recent Nürburgring 24 Hours, Verstappen enjoyed the experience but has no immediate plans for GT races beyond the Nordschleife this year. However, Verstappen is considering participating in the 2027 Daytona 24 Hours, depending on how it fits into his training schedule and commitments. While he has not made a concrete decision yet and would need to adjust his training regimen, the idea of racing in Daytona excites Verstappen, potentially in a GT3 car rather than the fastest GTP class. Additionally, Verstappen is keen on returning to the Nürburgring 24 Hours next year if it does not clash with his Formula 1 obligations, showcasing his enthusiasm for endurance racing in both the Nürburgring and Daytona events.
