Max Verstappen is interested in endurance racing and has held talks with Ford. Should he try his hand in Hypercar at the 24 Hours of Le Mans?
Max Verstappen is set to make his 24-Hour race debut at the Nurburgring this weekend, showcasing his interest in endurance racing.
Having prepared for this debut by competing in several NLS rounds at the Nordschleife, Verstappen’s passion for GT racing has grown, leading him to seek opportunities outside of Formula 1.
Although he has yet to move towards Hypercar racing, he has expressed his desire to compete at Le Mans in the future.
Discussions with Ford’s Mark Rushbrook have hinted at a potential Le Mans appearance for Verstappen as Ford launches its Hypercar program next year.
With his current involvement with Red Bull in F1, the possibility of Verstappen venturing into Hypercar racing remains an intriguing prospect for fans and fellow drivers alike.
