Max Verstappen will make his 24-hour debut at the Nurburgring this weekend — and the event has now sold out for the first time.
The 2026 Nurburgring 24 Hours has sold out weekend tickets for the first time in its history, primarily due to Max Verstappen’s highly anticipated debut driving unprecedented demand ahead of the endurance race.
The event is set to take place at the legendary Nurburgring circuit, known as ‘The Green Hell’, this weekend, from May 14-17.
Organizers have confirmed that all full-event tickets have been sold, with only limited day tickets still available for the 54th running of the Nordschleife contest.
Nurburgring shared the sell-out news on social media, emphasizing the immense interest generated by Verstappen’s participation.
Verstappen will be competing in his first-ever 24-hour race as part of a Red Bull-backed Winward Racing GT3 program, piloting a Mercedes-AMG GT3 around the challenging 25km combined Nurburgring circuit.
Despite a previous podium result being annulled due to a technical violation, Verstappen’s performance has heightened expectations for a strong showing at the 24-hour race.
Anticipation for the event has been further fueled by Verstappen’s rapid adaptation to the Nordschleife, laying the groundwork for a potentially competitive debut at the iconic race.
