The Nürburgring 24 Hours has officially started. Dani Juncadella was involved in a minor incident twice, but has view of the leaders after the first stint.

The 2026 Nürburgring 24 Hours kicked off with Dani Juncadella driving the #3 Verstappen Racing Mercedes GT3. Juncadella swiftly moved from fourth to third by overtaking Christopher Haase’s Audi, but trouble soon hit the #99 BMW driven by Milko Bortoletti.

After a close call with Bortoletti, Juncadella made a pit stop, inching him closer to the top spot. Kevin Estre, driving a Porsche, applied immense pressure on Juncadella, showcasing his exceptional skills. Meanwhile, the #130 Lamborghini led the race, with Marco Mapelli at the helm, facing stiff competition.

Despite early challenges, Juncadella managed to gain ground on Mapelli, who later incurred a time penalty for a false start. Subsequent pit stops saw Max Verstappen taking over for Juncadella, adding to the thrilling race at Nürburgring.
