Max Verstappen will take part in the 24 Hours of Nurburgring this weekend – but there are several entries standing in the way of a potential victory.
Max Verstappen had a successful GT3 debut at Nordschleife with a victory alongside Chris Lulham, despite later being disqualified for improper tyre use. He faced technical problems during his first stint in the 24-hour race qualifiers, hindering his chances with Lucas Auer. Verstappen’s team faces strong competition with 40 other teams in the SP9 class, including #16 Scherer Sport PHX led by Christopher Haase, a consistent challenger at Nordschleife events. Moreover, the #1 and #99 ROWE RACING teams pose serious threats with experienced drivers like Augusto Farfus, Raffaele Marciello, and Sheldon van der Linde. Verstappen and his team will have to navigate through tough competition to secure victory at the 24 Hours of Nurburgring.
