As a seven-time champion, he is set to start his 20th season in 2026, having competed in 380 of 381 grands prix, claiming a record 105 wins and seven titles. Despite a challenging 2025 season where he struggled with his new Ferrari team, he won the Chinese GP Sprint and secured a podium in Miami. Throughout his career, Hamilton has faced tough moments, from disappointing seasons at McLaren to a winless 2022 with Mercedes and a controversial loss to Max Verstappen in Abu Dhabi.
