Verstappen’s Daredevil Rally: Dramatic Crash Shakes Motorsport World

Jos Verstappen was involved in a scary crash during the Rallye des Wallonie – but thankfully, both he and his co-driverver Jasper Vermeulen are okay.

Jos Verstappen’s venture at the Rallye des Wallonie ended prematurely on Sunday morning when his Skoda overturned during the first stage of the day, after veering off the road. The crash was confirmed by the Rallye des Wallonie on its social media platforms, with images showing the badly damaged car flipped upside down. Fortunately, both Verstappen and his co-driver, Jasper Vermeulen, escaped uninjured in the incident. Despite facing setbacks, including a time penalty on Saturday, Verstappen had been in third position after the first day of running at the rally. It’s worth noting that Verstappen’s regular co-driver, Renaud Jamoul, was absent due to a broken ankle sustained earlier in the week.
