Jake Dennis Secures Vital Andretti Deal Amid Formula E Silly Season Drama

Jake Dennis extending his stay at Andretti has removed a key driver and seat from Formula E silly season this year.

Jake Dennis expressed his relief about securing his place on the Formula E grid for the Gen4 season by signing a multi-year contract extension with Andretti. The announcement came last week that Dennis would continue with the team into the upcoming Gen4 era. In his sixth campaign with Andretti, Dennis, the Season 9 world champion, has exclusively raced for the American outfit in Formula E. Although talks with other teams, including factory squads, were held as his contract was set to end this season, Dennis always intended to stick with Andretti, who also allow him to support Red Bull F1 as a simulator driver and race for BMW in the GT World Challenge. Negotiations with other teams did take place due to interest from manufacturers and the shifting driver market, but ultimately, Dennis is pleased with the outcome and believes Andretti met his requirements satisfactorily.
