Lewis Hamilton praised Kevin Magnussen’s honesty after an intense battle during the Miami Grand Prix sprint. Despite starting from P12, Hamilton fought hard to pass Magnussen and secure a point. Magnussen accumulated 35 seconds of penalties, acknowledging them as “well-deserved.” Hamilton appreciated Magnussen’s honesty and their competitive race, stating that he loves racing hard and working as a team. However, Hamilton received a post-race drive-through penalty for speeding in the pit-lane, resulting in a 20-second time penalty and finishing in P16. Interestingly, Hamilton was partially responsible for a chain reaction leading to a safety car incident involving Lance Stroll, Fernando Alonso, and Lando Norris.
