Fernando Alonso believes Ferrari has an advantage heading into the wet Miami Grand Prix as the only team to have run the current cars in rain. Thunderstorms are expected on race day, prompting the FIA to move the race earlier. Ferrari and Lewis Hamilton have tested Pirelli wet-weather tires, a luxury other teams lack. However, Racing Bulls also conducted a wet tire test. Alonso admits their chances in dry and wet conditions are slim but hopes for surprises in the race. Despite gearbox issues, Alonso out-qualified Cadillacs and aims to fix problems before the race, especially if it rains.
