The congested nature of the calendar following the summer break originally made it seem unlikely to find a suitable alternative date. F1 CEO Stefano Domenicali mentioned the potential to recover a race, with the weekend of October 2-4 between Azerbaijan and Singapore Grands Prix now under review. Logistics and human resources would be significant factors influencing the decision, especially considering a potential quadruple-header to end the season alongside existing contractual obligations.
