Dan Ticktum will start the opening race of Formula E’s Monaco double-header from pole position.
In the final duel of the Monaco E-Prix, Dan Ticktum secured pole position by defeating Nyck de Vries with a stunning lap time of 1m 26.551, maintaining his hopes of a seat in Formula E for next season. Following Ticktum and de Vries on the grid are Maximilian Günther and Mitch Evans, with championship leader Pascal Wehrlein starting fifth. Despite a minor wall brush, Ticktum’s performance was excellent, besting de Vries in all but the middle sector. This marks Ticktum’s second Formula E pole, his first starting from first position. Ticktum advanced by overcoming Wehrlein and Günther, while de Vries passed da Costa and Evans to reach the final duel. In the quarter finals, Günther topped Müller and Evans defeated Eriksson.
