One half of Audi F1’s driver line-up has been confirmed with Nico Hulkenberg signing a contract with the German outfit ahead of its 2026 arrival.
Nico Hulkenberg is leaving Haas at the end of this Formula 1 season to join Stake for 2025. He signed a multi-year deal with Audi and will be part of Audi’s F1 line-up when they enter the grid in 2026 through Sauber. Valtteri Bottas or Zhou Guanyu might make way for Hulkenberg at the end of the ongoing campaign. Hulkenberg expressed his excitement to return to the team he worked with in 2013 and to join Audi in Formula 1. Audi CEO Andreas Seidl praised Hulkenberg’s speed, experience, and teamwork, emphasizing his importance in their F1 project. Hulkenberg’s 2025 F1 teammate will be announced later.
