Isack Hadjar has suffered a strange accident in first practice at the Circuit de Monaco.
Isack Hadjar caused a red flag during the first practice session for the Monaco Grand Prix after crashing his Red Bull at Turn 16 with less than 25 minutes left.
The crash was unusual as the car hit the barrier nose-first on corner exit in the Swimming Pool section, then slid through the chicane and into the wall.
The impact resulted in significant debris scattered on the track, prompting the red flag to be waved.
Hadjar expressed confusion over the incident, stating that the car “snapped” and he did not comprehend why the crash occurred.
Red Bull now faces a race against time to repair the damaged RB22 before the second practice session, while Kimi Antonelli currently leads the timings.
