Animal Advocates Unleash Fury: Condemning Former F1 Driver’s Role in Bird Tragedy

Romain Grosjean has drawn the ire of the world’s largest animal rights group, PETA, for his “flippant” response to the “smash-up” of a bird at 230mph.

PETA has strongly criticized Romain Grosjean for making light of hitting and killing a bird at 230mph during Indianapolis 500 practice.
The incident occurred at Indianapolis Motor Speedway when Grosjean’s car clipped the bird through Turn 3, leaving blood and debris on his race suit and car.
Despite the seriousness of the incident, Grosjean joked about it, drawing sharp criticism from PETA.
The animal rights group expressed disappointment in Grosjean’s lack of empathy and urged him to consider the lives of animals.
PETA plans to send Grosjean plant-based chicken to encourage a more compassionate lifestyle.
This is not the first time Grosjean has been involved in collisions with wildlife on the track, as he previously hit a groundhog during the 2018 Canadian Grand Prix practice.
