Lando Norris admitted that making “too many mistakes” on his final qualifying lap at the Spanish Grand Prix led to him losing pole position to his McLaren teammate Oscar Piastri. Despite initially being on provisional pole after the first Q3 runs, Norris mentioned that he made two key errors on his last Q3 tour, affecting the cleanliness of his lap and costing him crucial time, resulting in Piastri clinching pole by 0.209s.
