The transparency needed from Michelin as the MotoGP title battle reaches its end
Many MotoGP riders, including Jorge Martin, have expressed their frustration with the quality of Michelin tyres. Martin blamed a faulty tyre for his struggles in the last grand prix and stated that the level of tyres needs to improve significantly. He even felt that his chance of winning the championship had been “stolen.” Other riders, such as Aleix Espargaro and Francesco Bagnaia, share the same opinion and have criticized the tyres openly. Michelin’s top manager, Piero Taramasso, has acknowledged the complaints but stated that an investigation is ongoing. Even experienced rider Marc Marquez has diplomatically expressed similar concerns about the tyres.
