Despite his impressive performances throughout the season, Antonelli admitted to feeling overwhelmed by the occasion of competing in his home race for the first time. He was hampered by throttle issues, stating that the car’s pace would have been much better without the problem. Antonelli recognized the need to improve his driving and race pace, especially in hot conditions. Despite feeling overwhelmed by the attention from Italian fans, he appreciated their support and acknowledged the need to manage his energy better in future races.
