The 2026 Formula 1 calendar has been revealed by the commercial rightsholder FOM and the governing body the FIA, featuring 24 race weekends starting on 8 March in Melbourne with the Australian Grand Prix and concluding in Abu Dhabi on 6 December.
Australia will host the season opener due to the Ramadan holiday, with Bahrain not hosting the first race as previously reported.
The calendar sees notable changes with a double-header in China, a standalone Japan event, and back-to-back races in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.
The Canadian Grand Prix will now clash with the Indianapolis 500 in May, while the Monaco Grand Prix has been moved to accommodate the Miami and Canada races being closer together.
The season finishes with six race weekends in seven weeks, including a run in the United States, Brazil, Las Vegas, and Qatar before concluding in Abu Dhabi. Additional sprint events and testing will prepare teams for the introduction of all-new cars and power units in 2026.
